A Heroku alternative with an AI deploy agent
If you're looking for a Heroku alternative for your web apps and APIs, DockHive keeps the push-and-it's-live workflow and adds an AI deploy agent. Drone reads your code, builds it and puts it live, and your app gets HTTPS on its own URL.
What you get with DockHive
Zero-config deploys with Drone
Drone, the AI deploy agent, reads your code, builds your app and deploys it. Push your code, click Drone, it's live. No deploy config to write.
How Drone worksPush to deploy, with rollbacks
Every GitHub push redeploys, with commit statuses on GitHub. Put an earlier version back live with a rollback.
App hostingManaged databases
Postgres, MySQL, MariaDB, Redis and RabbitMQ, on every plan. TLS by default on every connection.
Managed databasesFixes problems for you
If something goes wrong, Drone fixes it along the way and retries until your app is live on <app>.dockhive.app with HTTPS.
How Drone worksDeploy from your AI agent
The hivepod CLI ships an MCP server. Connect Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor or Windsurf and your agent can deploy, read logs, set env vars, roll back and attach domains.
Set up MCPCustom domains with automatic HTTPS
Add your domain, point a CNAME at DockHive and the Let's Encrypt certificate is issued for you. Every app also gets <app>.dockhive.app.
App hostingSimple pricing
A Free Tier, a Developer Plan at $3/month, a Pro Plan at $15/month and a Scale Plan through sales. Beyond your plan: $2 per vCPU-month, $0.10 per GB-month of database storage, $0.02 per GB of bandwidth, $0.05 per build hour.

Workloads run on a decentralized network of independent nodes rather than inside one provider's data centers. Node operators contribute compute by running a node.

Questions about switching to DockHive
How do I move an app to DockHive from Heroku?
Connect your GitHub repository in the DockHive console and click Deploy with Drone. Copy your environment variables across, then point your domain's CNAME record at DockHive. HTTPS is set up automatically.
Do I need to write any deploy config?
No. Push your code and click Drone. It reads your code, builds your app and deploys it, and tells you which env vars your app needs.
Can my AI coding agent deploy to DockHive?
Yes. Install the hivepod CLI, run hivepod login, then connect Claude Code with claude mcp add dockhive -- hivepod mcp. Claude Desktop, Cursor and Windsurf work too.
How much does DockHive cost?
There is a Free Tier, a Developer Plan at $3/month, a Pro Plan at $15/month and a Scale Plan through sales. Usage beyond your plan is $2 per vCPU-month, $0.10 per GB-month of database storage, $0.02 per GB of bandwidth and $0.05 per build hour.
Are my secrets safe during the move?
You set environment variable values in the console, with hivepod deploy --env, or through your agent. They are encrypted at rest and hidden in the console. Don't commit .env files to your repo; the hivepod CLI never uploads them.
